H&H Classics is hosting its ‘Take Off Sale’ at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, on Wednesday 9th April 2025. The auction will feature 145 lots covering classic, collectible, and performance cars, with a combined estimated value of more than £4.8 million!
The most valuable vehicle is a 1924 Rolls-Royce Springfield 40/50hp Silver Ghost Piccadilly Roadster, once owned by F1 legend Phil Hill. This is expected to sell for between £200,000 and £250,000. While that is the most valuable, there are eight other vehicles that are expected to sell for six-figure sums of money too.
On the flip side to that, there are also 26 cars that will be going to the auction without reserve.
What’s Available?
Sir Elton John’s former 1995 Aston Martin DB7 is listed with a guide price of £23,000–£27,000, and a 1971 Cadillac Fleetwood Series Seventy-Five Limousine once belonging to The Who’s John Entwistle could go for £15,000–£25,000. Also featured is a Jaguar XJ6 4.2 Series I from 1971, first owned by Nancy Sinatra, estimated at £10,000–£12,000.
Other interesting cars include a 1977 Ferrari 512 BB ‘Wide Body’ (£150,000–£170,000), believed to be a one-off example of a UK RHD model, and a 1966 TVR Griffith 200/400 (£90,000–£110,000), one of just 52 UK-supplied units.

“Our first Cambridgeshire auction of 2025 has set a very high bar with a fantastic mix of celebrity owned cars, rare models, classics with six-figure estimates and an array of no reserve examples. With 145 lots to choose from, we expect the auction to attract a wide range of interest from collectors and enthusiasts looking to add to their collection or simply admire the wonderful examples on display.”
