Caterham’s all-electric sports coupé, the Project V prototype, will be on display at IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich. This appearance will include the very special car fitted with advanced battery technology from XING Mobility Inc.

The latest public appearance for the lightweight EV concept will have XING’s IMMERSIO™ Cell-to-Pack (CTP) battery system. This system uses immersion cooling, where the battery cells are submerged in a dielectric liquid. The result is highly efficient thermal management, delivering consistent performance, enhanced safety, and impressive energy density. All of which are crucial in the high-performance EV segment.
Project V was first revealed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July 2023, followed by appearances at the Tokyo Auto Salon in both January 2024 and 2025. However, this will be the car’s first European showing since Caterham confirmed in December 2024 that it would partner with XING Mobility to integrate the IMMERSIO™ system into its EV platform.

XING Mobility has developed immersion-cooled battery technology for performance and motorsport applications. The IMMERSIO™ CTP system is one of the most functionally advanced options currently available.
Developed alongside TOKYO R&D Co., Ltd. and Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., Project V carries over Caterham’s core values, lightweight construction, simplicity, and driving enjoyment, now reimagined for the electric age.
