Classic Cars In Storage

Tony has recently taken 2 of our classic cars and put them safely into our secure storage facility.

Our 1953 Austin A40 and our 1984 Rover SD1 (a very special 1 of 1 car!)

We also sourced a donor car for our SD1 in preparation for its restoration.

Under Lock and Key – The 1967 Morris Traveller Transported to Storage

Another classic is on its way to be looked after at our secure and discrete storage facility – The Hangar. This 1967 Morris Traveller has been at the Bridge Classic Cars workshops in Pettistree to have a few jobs done by our classic car restoration technicians in the past couple of weeks but this morning the car was handed over to our transport team for them to take it over to The Hangar.

The car will be stored alongside the rows of other beautiful classic cars and motorcycles in our weather sealed facility – Looking for somewhere to store your classic/collectible car? There are still a few places remaining!

BMW leaving storage…

Having been in storage with us for a little while, the beautiful 2016 BMW S1000 XR leaves us to enjoy the sunshine. We’ll be seeing it back in a few weeks to correct a little paint imperfection but for now, it’s goodbye from us.

Special Motorcycle in Storage

We get to caretake and look after some incredible machines, we also share that passion for storing and preserving them to ensure they are kept perfectly for their owners. Much like one of our recent arrivals, a 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout.

One of just a handful of these sensational cruisers known to be in the UK, its owner has asked to care for the bike in our safe, secure and discrete storage facility – The Hangar. There we can make sure it is kept at a consistent temperature and safe from the elements in our specific motorcycle room which is purely built for holding two-wheeled beauties in hibernation.

If you have a motorcycle or a classic/collectible car that you want protected and preserved, get in touch with the team today.

More Transport And Storage

Tony has been out and about again. This time, he made a trip to Devon to collect our 1962 Jaguar E-Type. He then transported it back to our secure storage facility for safekeeping.

Our Morgan Goes Into Storage

A couple of weeks ago, James Webber won our 2011 Morgan 4/4 with just over 1000 miles on the clock.

Along with the stunning car, an optional 12 months of free storage was also part of the prize that James was lucky enough to win.

As James lives in London, he has decided to keep the car in our secure storage facility for a while. He has family in our area so at some point in the near future, he will visit his beautiful low-mileage car safely tucked away in a climate-controlled Carcoon.

Congratulations again to James on winning our 2011 Morgan 4/4.

Our SL returns with a noise…

Firstly, we have road tested the vehicle to experience what the customer is experiencing.
Found the noise to be coming from the nearside rear wheel so we have stripped out wheel hub and replace wheel bearing.

Whilst the car is in with us, we have fitted a DAB radio with DAB aerial and microphone.

We’ve also had reported to us a smell of fuel so we have looked into this also. Having stripped out the boot linings to check all fuel pipes we have not found there to be any leaks.

We have remove the dash cluster in order to replace the left hand bulb assembly.

The car is now ready to go but as the weather is so beautiful, the customer has asked us to store his hardtop in the summer months. Great choice. If you have a car, motorcycle or even a hardtop to store check out our amazing storage facility.

Time for some TLC – Our 1998 BMW E36 M3 Evo comes over to the workshop

This stunning 1998 BMW E36 M3 Evo has been in long term storage for quite some time now. Recently, our transport team took a trip to our secure, secret storage facility – The Hangar, to pick up this incredible 1990’s sports coupe.

After being taken out of its protective bubble, the car was loaded into our enclosed trailer and brought to the main workshops here at the Bridge Classic Cars Suffolk HQ.

Bike Collection at The Hangar

Our collection of vintage motorcycles has been transferred up to our safe and secure storage facility, the hangar.

After being recommissioned by the Bridge Classic Cars workshop team, they were transported by our team to be kept safe and dry.

A New Arrival

We recently welcomed our 1965 Land Rover Series 2a into our secure storage facility.

It will stay there safe and secure until it is ready to come into the Bridge Classic Cars workshop.

230SL Transport And Storage

Tony recently collected our 1964 Mercedes 230SL from its owner and took it to our secure storage facility.

Into Storage

Our 1968 Lotus Elan has been safely transported to our secure storage facility.

It will now be looked after in the company of other impressive cars.

Amphicar Transport

Tony has recently transported our 1964 Amphicar 770 from our secure storage facility back to the workshop.

A busy week of deliveries

Tony’s had a busy week on the road this week. As I sit here writing this he is currently heading up the A65 on his way to the north of Scotland for the weekend to collect 5 (potentially 6) classic motorcycles.

But earlier in the week he delivered the incredible 1992 Rover Mini Italian Job to one very happy Brian. Brian has been waiting patiently for the winning car as we discovered a slight vibration during the Pre Delivery Inspection and we did not want him to have the car until we had resolved the issue.

James accepted delivery of his 1982 Bedford HA van. Although James resides some distance from us here in Suffolk he has a vehicle storage facility close to our door so the journey we were expecting to have ended up a few hundred miles shorter. James is an avid collector of classic cars and we are lead to believe this win is the 16th classic he has in his collection. Enjoy the car James.

But the Alfa Romeo, recently won by double winner Lee is staying with us in our Hangar for a little while as Lee prepares his home for the new arrival. Lee would rather not see his Alfa sitting on the driveway whilst his building works continues so has instantly opted to have the vehicle dry stored with us and we expect to rearrange the delivery for early May.

By Road And Sea

Our 1964 Amphicar 770 is now complete!

It’s great to see this stunning classic in its fully restored state. Before going home to its owner, it will spend some time in our secure storage facility.

Latest addition to Bridge Classic Cars storage

…and it’s a beauty! Our 1000 mile 2011 Morgan 4/4 is now safely tucked away at our new storage facilities. As well as a larger space for car storage we now have a room dedicated to the storage of motorcycles. Our secure location is based in the heart of the Suffolk countryside but transport to and from any UK location is available. If you wish to discuss your storage needs please feel free to get in touch.

Bikes, Bikes, And More Bikes

As we settle into our new storage facility, we have welcomed some more motorbikes into their new temporary home.

As well as storing cars in climate-controlled Carcoons, we also have a dedicated space exclusively for motorbikes.

With the latest additions going into storage, it’s a very cool place to be.

A Familiar Face Returns

Former competition car, our 1975 MGB GT V8 has returned to Bridge Classic Cars.

However, rather than returning to the workshop, it has actually gone into our brand-new secure storage facility.

Tony collected the car and it is now safe and secure surrounded by other stunning classics.

Car Storage

Our secure storage facility, The Hangar, has a wide range of vehicles safely tucked away inside.

We recently welcomed a Dodge Challenger into storage but, before it arrived, we gave The Hangar an extra clean to make sure everything is pristine for the owners of this wide range of classics.

Once cleaning had finished, we took a few photos of the cars in their protective Carcoons which helps keep them all in the perfect environmental conditions.

Another Car In Storage

Another stunning car has entered our secure storage facility, the Hangar.

As you can see from the photos below, is very much at home surrounded by other rare, classic, vintage, and sports cars.

More information about classic car storage can be found here.

2 New Arrivals

We have recently welcomed two new arrivals into our secure hangar at Bentwaters Parks, a 1968 Triumph Spitfire and a 1963 Triumph TR4.

These classics will be with us for a while until the Spitfire is ready to be recommissioned and the TR4 is potentially going to be restored in the future too.

In the meantime though, they are safe and secure surrounded by other beautiful classics.

A Honda S2000 Arrives

Our 2005 Honda S2000 recently arrived at the Bridge Classic Cars workshop from its home in Gurnsey.

It is currently in storage at our secure Hangar but, eventually, it will go into the paintshop to bring it back to its full beauty.

When it first arrived at the workshop, workshop manager John and technician Jonn assessed the car and found some corrosion. They also removed quite a lot of dirt from the rear arches. The condenser was also found to have deteriorated and detritus was found in and around the roof.

Going Into Storage

A stunning 1973 Ferrari Dino has gone into our secure storage facility.

Simply having a car like a Ferrari Dino go into storage with us is exciting enough but, this one has been featured in Classic Cars Magazine in the 1990s too which makes it extra special.

This eye-catching classic will remain in storage with us until there is an opportunity to move it into the Bridge Classic Cars workshop so our skilled team of technicians can get to work on some areas in need of repair.

More Car Storage Space

At the weekend, some of the team from Bridge Classic Cars spent time at our secure vehicle storage facility, The Hangar, located at Bentwaters Parks. While they were there, they were extremely busy moving things around to create more space for vehicle storage purposes.

While things were being moved around, the Hangar was cleaned too.

We have seen a big increase in customers contacting us wanting to securely store their vehicle/s for extended periods of time. As a result, more storage space was needed and that is exactly what has happened.

More carcoons mean more room for more classic cars to be stored!

Storing A Range Rover

Yesterday, we welcomed a new car into our secure storage facility, The Hangar. The 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE will be staying with us for a while before its owner is ready for its return.

It will join a wide range of cars currently being stored with Bridge Classic Cars so it will have plenty of company while it is with us.
