Having been in storage, within a CarCoon for almost a year, I have decided to get my 2000 Peugeot 306 Cabriolet back on the road…just in time for the WINTER!!
Sure, it maybe isn’t the best time for the convertible to come out of hibernation but due to the fact that we are making a few large changes to our storage facilities, it kinda made sense fore the car to come out for a check over.
We’ll give it a once over in preparation for the MOT which is scheduled for a few weeks time. Jon has carried out a full check over and road test. We’ve topped up the levels, inflated the tyres, torqued up the wheel nuts and put 5ltrs of clean fuel in. Everything seems ok and she’s ready for the MOT.
As we bring our Peugeot 306 Cabriolet out of storage, we welcome our 1952 Fiat 1900A in. It’ll only be for a few weeks until we can make some space in The Classic Lounge.

There we can make sure it is kept at a consistent temperature and safe from the elements in our specific motorcycle room which is purely built for holding two-wheeled beauties in hibernation.

A couple of weeks ago, James Webber won our 2011 Morgan 4/4 with just over 1000 miles on the clock.
Along with the stunning car, an optional 12 months of free storage was also part of the prize that James was lucky enough to win.
As James lives in London, he has decided to keep the car in our secure storage facility for a while. He has family in our area so at some point in the near future, he will visit his beautiful low-mileage car safely tucked away in a climate-controlled Carcoon.
Congratulations again to James on winning our 2011 Morgan 4/4.
Firstly, we have road tested the vehicle to experience what the customer is experiencing.
Found the noise to be coming from the nearside rear wheel so we have stripped out wheel hub and replace wheel bearing.
Whilst the car is in with us, we have fitted a DAB radio with DAB aerial and microphone.
We’ve also had reported to us a smell of fuel so we have looked into this also. Having stripped out the boot linings to check all fuel pipes we have not found there to be any leaks.
We have remove the dash cluster in order to replace the left hand bulb assembly.
The car is now ready to go but as the weather is so beautiful, the customer has asked us to store his hardtop in the summer months. Great choice. If you have a car, motorcycle or even a hardtop to store check out our amazing storage facility.
This stunning 1998 BMW E36 M3 Evo has been in long term storage for quite some time now. Recently, our transport team took a trip to our secure, secret storage facility – The Hangar, to pick up this incredible 1990’s sports coupe.

Tony’s had a busy week on the road this week. As I sit here writing this he is currently heading up the A65 on his way to the north of Scotland for the weekend to collect 5 (potentially 6) classic motorcycles.
But earlier in the week he delivered the incredible 1992 Rover Mini Italian Job to one very happy Brian. Brian has been waiting patiently for the winning car as we discovered a slight vibration during the Pre Delivery Inspection and we did not want him to have the car until we had resolved the issue.
James accepted delivery of his 1982 Bedford HA van. Although James resides some distance from us here in Suffolk he has a vehicle storage facility close to our door so the journey we were expecting to have ended up a few hundred miles shorter. James is an avid collector of classic cars and we are lead to believe this win is the 16th classic he has in his collection. Enjoy the car James.
But the Alfa Romeo, recently won by double winner Lee is staying with us in our Hangar for a little while as Lee prepares his home for the new arrival. Lee would rather not see his Alfa sitting on the driveway whilst his building works continues so has instantly opted to have the vehicle dry stored with us and we expect to rearrange the delivery for early May.
We have recently welcomed another car into our new secure storage facility, The Hangar.
This time, it was a classic MG that is now safe and secure in its controlled environment in a Carcoon.

Our 1964 Amphicar 770 is now complete!

With the latest additions going into storage, it’s a very cool place to be.
Former competition car, our 1975 MGB GT V8 has returned to Bridge Classic Cars.
However, rather than returning to the workshop, it has actually gone into our brand-new secure storage facility.

Our secure storage facility, The Hangar, has a wide range of vehicles safely tucked away inside.
We recently welcomed a Dodge Challenger into storage but, before it arrived, we gave The Hangar an extra clean to make sure everything is pristine for the owners of this wide range of classics.
Once cleaning had finished, we took a few photos of the cars in their protective Carcoons which helps keep them all in the perfect environmental conditions.
Another stunning car has entered our secure storage facility, the Hangar.
As you can see from the photos below, is very much at home surrounded by other rare, classic, vintage, and sports cars.
More information about classic car storage can be found here.
We have recently welcomed two new arrivals into our secure hangar at Bentwaters Parks, a 1968 Triumph Spitfire and a 1963 Triumph TR4.
These classics will be with us for a while until the Spitfire is ready to be recommissioned and the TR4 is potentially going to be restored in the future too.
In the meantime though, they are safe and secure surrounded by other beautiful classics.
Our 2005 Honda S2000 recently arrived at the Bridge Classic Cars workshop from its home in Gurnsey.
It is currently in storage at our secure Hangar but, eventually, it will go into the paintshop to bring it back to its full beauty.
When it first arrived at the workshop, workshop manager John and technician Jonn assessed the car and found some corrosion. They also removed quite a lot of dirt from the rear arches. The condenser was also found to have deteriorated and detritus was found in and around the roof.
