Steve has been working his way through the jobs list on the 1962 Lotus Elite here at the Bridge Classic Cars restoration HQ in Suffolk. This stunning, lightweight sports car has been in the workshop for the team to get the car back up to top shelf condition. So, here’s what Steve has been up to:

‘Replaced track rod end rubber boots as the old ones were split. Removed and tidied up the existing door switch plates. Removed cleaned and greased front brake pads as they were squeaking on test drive. Fitted a accelerator cable adjuster to the the cable mount to take out the the free play and hold the cable in place correctly. Clip in drivers side window was coming unbonded from the frame so was dismantled, cleaned and re bonded in place.’
