Jonn has completed the following work on our 2000 BMW Z3:

The remote key battery was replaced and tested, functioning correctly. A road test was carried out, revealing a slight vibration when braking, though this improved with continued driving.

An initial appraisal was conducted, during which the battery was placed on charge, and the wheels were removed. The appraisal continued with a visual inspection of the brakes before the wheels were refitted. Tyre pressures were adjusted, and wheel nuts were torqued. The centre console ashtray was attended to, with coins removed from beneath, allowing it to open and close properly. A screw was fitted to the storage bin lid behind the seats.

The bonnet catches were investigated, as they were partially seized in the open position. These were lubricated, worked in and out multiple times, and freed up. The front grille was removed as a precaution but was refitted after confirming proper bonnet operation. The washer jets were unblocked and adjusted, new wiper blades were fitted, and under-dash trims were refitted and secured. New bobbins were installed for the secondary air pump under the bonnet. The oil and filter were drained.

The service continued with the installation of a new air filter, fuel filter, and oil filter. The sump bung was torqued, and the engine was refilled with oil. The vehicle was then started, run, and tested, with all work confirmed as completed successfully.
