Back Together – Reassembling the 1987 Mercedes 500SL

Mauro, one of our paint and body technicians, has been in charge of the revamp of the 1987 Mercedes 500SL here at the Bridge Classic Cars HQ. The classic Mercedes convertinle had been stripped back and repainted due to some imperfections and reactions in the previous paint work as well as a few areas where the body work needed to readdressed. Since then, Mauro has got the car’s panels back together and fitted up (not final adjustments as yet) as well as stone chip painting an area on the bulk head which had to be rewelded.
