More Removals

The wiring, harness, and heater have now been removed from our 1978 Mercedes 350SL. Lots of work and progress are being made on this car, and it will soon be returned to its former glory and be back out on the road where it belongs.

Prepping Parts For Future Reassembly

Ben has begun cleaning and restoring various parts from our 1978 Mercedes 350SL in preparation for reassembly. Some components have been sandblasted and primed, with plans to apply the correct paint colour before storage. These restored parts will be packed away until they are ready to be refitted during the reassembly process

Gearbox Removal

MG C Fuel Sender

MGB In Primer

Our 1973 MGB Roadster has now had primer applied and will soon be painted. It will, no doubt, look incredible by the time it leaves the paint shop.

Jensen Interceptor Body Work

The preparation of our 1976 Jensen Interceptor has continued in order for it to soon be painted. After polyfan has been applied, it has been rubbed down ready for the next stage of its restoration journey here at Bridge Classic Cars.

Primer Rub Down

A guide coat has been added to our 1960 Jensen 541R. The primer was then rubbed down ready for final paint. The car was then masked up and will soon have its beautiful new paint applied.

Triumph TR6 Rust Repair

Our 1975 Triumph TR6 was in need of some rust repair on the driver’s side sill. It was patch welded before being primed and painted.

Paint Stripping

Our 1978 Mercedes 350SL has been in the Bridge Classic Cars paint shop. While it has been in there, it has had the paint stripped off several panels ready for prep work to begin for new paint.

Driveshaft Refurbishment

As new driveshafts were not available, we stripped down the joints and cleaned them, then regreased as well as replacing the CV boots on our 1987 Mercedes 500SL.

Triumph Stag Service

Our Triumph Stag has been serviced. While doing so, both power steering lines were replaced as the old ones were perished and leaking fluid.

Headlight Alignment

Ben aligned the o/s headlight that he had previously sorted. Stag Appraisal and Repairs

Jonn began by stripping and inspecting the rear brakes of our 1974 Triumph Stag. The wheel cylinders were confirmed to be free and dry.
