Chris carried out detailed preparation work on our 1953 Aston Martin DB2/4. He began by cleaning the door frame, painting the back of the door skin and the frame itself, and then carefully refitting the assembly onto the car. With the car fully blocked down using 320-grit paper, Chris continued by readying it for the next stage with 500-grit.

Attention then turned to the boot floor, which he stripped in readiness for repairs to two sections before applying epoxy primer. Chris then applied a guide coat to the entire body and began rubbing it down with 500-grit to ensure it was properly prepped for the upcoming paintwork.
