Aston Martin has revealed the new DBX S, the next evolution of its performance SUV. Building on the foundations of the DBX707, the DBX S has more power, less weight, and a new look, making it the most dynamically capable SUV to come from Aston Martin.

The DBX S has an upgraded version of the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, which has now been tuned to produce 727PS and 900Nm of torque. Turbocharging technology from the upcoming Valhalla supercar gives it a 0-62mph time of just 3.3 seconds. The 193mph top speed remains, but the reworked exhaust makes the DBX S even louder than previous models.


A new carbon fibre roof takes 18kg from the top of the vehicle, lowering its centre of gravity. Optional magnesium wheels can save a further 19kg of unsprung mass, and by choosing the lighter wheels, the roof rails are also removed, resulting in a total weight that is 47kg lighter than the DBX707.

Power comes through a nine-speed wet clutch gearbox, distributing torque intelligently between all four wheels. It can send 50% to the front or 100% to the rear, and in Sport+ mode, downshifts get even sharper to match the rev-happy character of the updated engine.

A faster steering ratio (4% quicker) tightens up response without compromising stability, and the turning circle is now just 12 metres. Revised suspension calibration improves body control, and this is further helped by electronic roll control that limits lean to just 1.5 degrees.


Visually, the DBX S has a new grille and quad exhausts, a revised rear diffuser, and a lower livery option in three colours. Carbon options for exterior elements such as the splitter, side strakes, and wing mirrors give the car an impressive silhouette.

Inside, the DBX S has a bespoke herringbone stitch pattern, standard Alcantara trim, and optional semi-aniline leather. Red seatbelts and ‘S’ badging appear throughout, including embossed seatbacks and a special engine plaque.

Orders are open now, with deliveries expected in the final quarter of 2025.
