Aston Martin has just revealed its latest flagship model in the form of the DB12 S.

Using the successful foundation of the standard DB12, the new S variant has increased power, even better dynamics, and introduces some new design details both externally and internally.

The DB12 S joins the DBX S and Vantage S as part of the brand’s high-performance lineup. It follows a tradition of ‘S’ badging that dates back to 1953 with the DB3S.

Ultimately, the S variants represent the highest-performing versions of Aston’s key models.

Increase in Power and Performance

The Aston Martin DB12 S is powered by a 4-litre twin-turbocharged V8, producing 700PS and 800Nm of torque. That’s a 20PS increase over the standard DB12, giving the S a 0–60mph time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 202mph. Gearshifts are now over 50% faster, too.

There is also a new quad-exit stainless steel sports exhaust, with an optional titanium system that cuts 11.7kg of weight and increases the volume by 1.5dB.

Handling

To complement the increase in performance, the DB12 S has several chassis upgrades aimed at increasing agility without sacrificing comfort. Recalibrated Bilstein dampers, a stiffer rear anti-roll bar, and revised suspension geometry all contribute to better handling. Updates to the electronic differential and steering tuning also bring improved feedback and connection.

Aston Martin’s latest Corner Braking Control (CBC) system also features, improving stability under braking and allowing drivers to trail brake with more confidence. Combined with torque vectoring and predictive stability controls, the DB12 S is engineered for a more involving and rewarding drive.

Carbon Ceramic Brakes are now standard, reducing unsprung mass by 27kg while improving braking performance and thermal resistance. At 410mm up front and 360mm at the rear, they offer a consistent pedal feel and fade resistance even under hard use.

Aerodynamics

Visually, the DB12 S has a more aggressive aerodynamic shape. At the front, a dual-element splitter and new bonnet louvres provide a powerful visual impact as well as airflow management. Gloss black side sills continue the splitter’s line along the car’s flanks, and a fixed rear spoiler and updated diffuser finish off the new shape.

Subtle but distinctive ‘S’ badges on the front wings are available in bright or dark chrome with red enamel to show the car’s place at the top of the DB range. Quad tailpipes, housed within a broader rear bumper, take the DB12 S’s sporting prowess one step further.

Cabin

Inside, the DB12 S has red anodised accents on the drive mode selector, echoed in the seatbelts, stitching, and headrest embroidery. Three interior trims are available in a blend of leather and Alcantara, or full semi-aniline leather for a more traditional luxury feel. All come with 16-way electric Sport Plus seats as standard, with an optional Carbon Fibre Performance seat for those drivers wanting extra support.

The cabin also offers bespoke touches such as a heated Alcantara steering wheel and an embossed-debossed Aston Martin wing logo on the headrests.

Coming Soon

Available to order now in both Coupe and Volante versions, first deliveries of the Aston Martin DB12 S are expected in early 2026.
