The Bridge Classic Cars restoration workshop is buzzing with activity this week – nearly a dozen projects currently going in and out of just our mechanical area let alone our trim shop, paint shop and fabrication bay. This time, our 2006 Jaguar XK has been on the ramps for our technician Jon to get under and take a look at.
‘Recheck over wheels and check brakes. Refit wheels and torque up. Strip nearside front top arm and replace ball joint rubber. Refit wheel and torque up. Inflate all tyres. Check axle oil. Try and reattach roof cover nearside.’
‘Remove binnacle and cluster from dash. Strip and remove clear plastic front cover and access dials. Refit chrome speedo ring and glue in place. Rebuild cluster and refit and test.‘
‘Repair offside centre air vent and get working. Fit new wiper blades and test.‘
