Our technicians have been carrying out the appraisal and check over of the 2005 Bentley Continental GT – Jon, one of our amazing technicians, has been carrying out his report.

‘Carry out full appraisal. Lube all hinges and locks as looked ry. Raise and inspect. Remove all wheels and inspect brakes. Inspect tyres and refit wheels. Remove undershield and drain oil and filter.’

‘Fit new bung and torque up to 50m. Fit new oil filter and secure. Fill with new oil. Run up and then recheck oil level and top up. Check for leaks, ok. Remove auxiliary belt with Johns help. Very limited space to work. Fit new belt and apply pressure to tensioner and secure. Run and check. Seems OK, no squealing.’

‘Refit undershield and replace missing bolts. Lower to floor and torque wheel nuts to 120nm. Refit all centre caps. Plug in and reset service indicator. Disconnect battery charger from boot. Refit trims and put locking wheel nut key back in toolkit.’
