The 82nd Goodwood Members’ Meeting took place over the weekend, and the whole thing started with a 70-car parade of Alpine cars to help celebrate the company’s 70th anniversary.

The parade included a selection of Alpine models spanning the last seven decades. There were A110s of the 1960s all the way through to the new all-electric A290 hot hatch, which was making its UK debut in right-hand drive.

“The Alpine parade was the perfect way to kick-start the Goodwood Members’ Meeting weekend and our 70th anniversary celebrations in the UK, linking our past to our present and underlining our race and rally DNA as we head into an electric era. It was an incredible sight to see so many historic Alpine racing cars and an unforgettable experience for the owners driving them.”

Also on static display was the A110 R Ultime. This is Alpine’s most powerful and exclusive road car to date. Limited to just 110 examples, this 345bhp ultra-sports model can accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 3.8 seconds.
