Back in August 2024, I received an email from James, who was searching for his grandfather’s old motorbike.
It was a 1946 Triumph Speed Twin, which obviously had sentimental value to James and his family.
Following James’ email, I shared the story on the Bridge Classic Cars website and on our social media, and, amazingly, we found the bike!
The current owner, Kevin, saw the story and realised that he had the bike in question.
Since then, James and his family have been reunited with the bike and have made a very special friend in its current owner.
A fantastic story and proof that cars and bikes are more than just a way of getting around, they have the ability to trigger memories and make new connections.
