What a great evening had at Portman Road. An impressive light show kicked things off, followed by the fantastic fire display right outside our window.
We welcomed a lovely group of guests into Box19 to share the experience with us as Ipswich secured another win against tough opposition Bristol City.
Speaking with Dan from Ipswich Town in Burley’s Bar before the game, I predicted a 2-0 with the first goal being from Clarke. I should’ve put my money where my mouth was as a brilliant display from Jack Clarke saw him score both goals in a 2-0 win.
The crowd were in great spirits too, giving former town captain Sam Morsy a lovely welcome back as he returned to Portman Road, this time playing for the opposition.

Mike O’Connor
Mike O’Connor has spent a large part of his career working in and around Formula One.
He’s an owner-driver who regularly competes at Historic F1 events, as well as being the co-founder of RESS. He also creates one-off sculptural pieces using original, race-used Formula One exhausts.
Each exhaust is a race consumable, usually used just once, meaning every piece can be traced back to a specific race, circuit, and driver, so they are highly collectable.
We’ve worked with Mike on several occaisions and he’s always fantastic to spend time with.
