This weekend sees the US debut of the E1 Racing Series (which we are very excited about!)
If you haven’t discovered the electric boat racing series yet, this might help you understand why we like it so much:
- What is E1?
The E1 World Championship is the world’s first all-electric powerboat racing series, officially sanctioned by the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM), the global body for powerboating. - Where and when?
The Miami edition (and U.S. launch) of E1 is happening now, 7th and 8th November 2025 at the Miami Seaplane Base on Watson Island. - Famous faces
The series is supported by some big names including ex-Formula 1 engineer Rodi Basso and former Formula E star Alejandro Agag. On the ownership side of things, LeBron James owns Team AlUla, Tom Brady owns Team Brady, Will Smith owns Westbrook Racing, DJ Steve Aoki has Aoki Racing, and Marc Anthony has Team Miami. - U.S. debut
Launched in 2024 with races in Saudi Arabia, E1 then expanded across Europe and now America. - Sustainability message
E1 brings in sustainability and social-impact elements, in addition to its racing. Ahead of the Miami event, Team Brady joined a cleanup in Biscayne Bay with the 4ocean Foundation.
To celebrate the US debut of E1, we are giving you the chance to win a Bulova Marine Star E1 Team Miami Watch for just £1.
