Jonn continued work on our 1987 Mercedes 500 SL by fitting the window seals, carefully cutting and shaping them to ensure a precise fit. During the process, the window channel runner detached from the glass, which he then bonded securely back into position before refitting.
Next Jonn carried out preparation work on our 1987 Mercedes 500 SL to fit the window rubbers and weatherstrips to both doors. He began by installing new clips to each door, then trimmed the weatherstrip to the correct length and fitted it into place. With the window raised, he fitted the inner rubber and carefully cut it to allow it to bend cleanly around the end of the door before securing it. The same procedure was then repeated for the opposite door.
