The McMurtry Spéirling is a super-fast electric car. It is so fast and so powerful that it can actually drive upside down without any kind of run up!
The Spéirling can turn itself upside down because of a very special feature it has called “Downforce-on-Demand™.” It’s like a giant hoover underneath the car that sucks it down onto any surface, even if that surface is completely upside down! Thanks to this incredible technology, the car’s co-creator, Thomas Yates, was able to drive it forward while hanging from the top of a spinning tunnel.
As well as being able to drive upside down, the Spéirling is so fast that it has broken lots of records and is the fastest car ever at famous tracks like the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Top Gear Test Track. It even beat an old Formula 1 car!
