We have recently welcomed our 2010 Maserati GranTurismo S Auto into the Bridge Classic Cars workshop.

This Italian sports car blends performance and luxury. Under the bonnet, you’ll find a 4.7-litre V8 engine, capable of producing 434 brake horsepower.

Its design is characterised by sweeping curves and a distinctive grille meaning this car captures attention wherever it goes. The interior features leather upholstery and wood trim.

The car will be going into storage with us for several years as well as having some paint repairs completed.

The Maserati GT2 Has Been Revealed

At the 24 Hours of Spa, one of the most anticipated racing events in international motorsport, Maserati revealed its latest track creation, the GT2.

Back in March, Maserati announced that the shakedown process had begun on this exciting machine. Since then, the car has gone through a series of intensive tests and it is now ready to bring the brand back to GT competitions. After the MC12’s domination of the track between 2005 and 2010, the GT2 is looking to recreate this success.

The Maserati GT2 is a beautiful mix of Maserati’s past, present, and future, as it draws on the legacy of the MC12. It also looked to the racing version of the MC20 super sports car by taking the already exceptional 463-kW/621-hp Nettuno V6 engine, and pushing its limits even further; all of this with the aim of driving the car into the motorsport history books by writing a new winning chapter.


Maserati designed and built the GT2 in dedication to private teams and gentleman drivers. The brand says it is a masterpiece of performance that combines history, innovation, and sporting attitude. All of these have always seemed to characterise Maserati cars, for both track and road. The plan for the GT2 was for it to take part in championships or individual events reserved for the GT2 class. The Maserati GT2 will make its track debut in the final stages of the 2023 Fanatec GT European Series, and is due to participate in the entire 2024 season.

The decision to return to track racing forms part of a thorough strategic framework, inaugurated this year with the debut in Formula E, to which we have now added our return to the world of GT competitions. With this impressive creation, Maserati celebrates its return to the world of GT competitions. Thanks to the collaboration of the Maserati Innovation Lab, the Centro Stile Maserati and the technological excellence of the Maserati dynamic simulator, the Maserati GT2 will no doubt be a force to be reckoned with when it gets on the track.

Robert Furniss Riding 1991 Maserati Bi-Turbo Spyder E – A Classic Car Saving Lives At Sea

One recent addition to the Bridge Classic Cars workshop comes with much more importance than first meets the eye.

Our 1991 Maserati Bi-Turbo Spyder E was previously owned by Robert Furniss Riding. Known as Bob, Robert was a hardworking man. He progressed in his banking career into the role of Group Treasurer of the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Bob had a keen interest in sailing while working in the city. However, after moving to the Isle of Man, his attention turned to collecting quality cars. He ended up getting involved with numerous car clubs and was even appointed as Chairman of the Conister Trust and Manx Classic Car Club. He was also President of the Manx Motor Racing Club and he became something of a classic car enthusiast.

Bob’s car collection grew to one of considerable size. In fact, he even moved to a large country house in order to have enough garage space to keep his ever-growing collection safe.

After his sad passing in May, Bob left his car collection (worth around ยฃ1.5million) to charity. He had been a keen supporter of local charities for a while. Even after his death, Bob wanted to continue to make a difference. He had a particular passion for maritime charities (thanks to his previous love of sailing) and for charities that helped young people.

The RNLI was named the Residuary Beneficiary of the Robert Furniss Riding estate. This meant that when his collection of cars went to auction (including our Maserati), the proceeds went to the charity. The funds raised will help support them in their extremely important work of keeping people safe at sea.

1991 Maserati Bi-Turbo Spyder E

Our 1991 Maserati Bi-Turbo Spyder E is a very cool car. It is one of just 147 right-hand drive 2.8-litre Spyders made and brings a whole load of style to this modern classic.

However, what makes this car truly special is that its former owner was a hardworking individual who loved generously sharing his seemingly endless knowledge of classic cars with anyone who needed it. He supported multiple charities and has made a big difference to their operations.

Everyone at Bridge Classic Cars sends our condolences to Bob’s friends, family, and loved ones. We will make sure his Spyder is well looked after!

This Just In – 2012 Maserati Gran Turismo

The stunning dark silver 2012 Maserati Gran Turismo arrived at the Bridge Classic Cars workshop this morning for the team to work on.

The striking GT car has come in for our paint and body teams to take a look at a few marks on the Maserati in order to get it looking 100% perfect.
