Our Defender Is Ready To Be Won

Our 2015 Land Rover Defender 110 is now available to win on the Bridge Classic Cars Competitions website.

Before it came to us, it was owned by TV adventurer, explorer, and survival expert Ed Stafford who loved this extremely capable off-roading vehicle as much as we do.

The draw for our stunning Defender will be held during the Evening With Ed Stafford event on 25th March but tickets are available right now for just £15.

Land Rover Carpets

Lydia has been making some new carpets for our 2015 Land Rover Defender 110.

Although this is a vehicle more than capable of driving over rough terrain, being used on expeditions, and pretty much anything else you can think of, the new carpets bring a bit of style and comfort to the interior.

New Footwell Carpet Fasteners

Brian has been fitting new fasteners to the footwell carpets of our 2015 Land Rover Defender 110.

After first fitting the new fasteners to the front footwell carpets, he put these in place before repeating the process on the rear carpets.

It is this level of attention to detail that make cars, like our Defender, look so good when they leave the Bridge Classic Cars workshop.

Prepping Our Defender

Our 2015 Land Rover Defender 110 continues to make progress in the Bridge Classic Cars workshop.

The photos below show it before a thorough clean and the fit-out process being started by classic car technicians Tamas and Scott.

Our Defender continues to look better and better and we are very excited to see its progress continue until it is ready to leave us in the near future.

Rebuilding Our Defender

Our 2015 Land Rover Defender has made good progress lately. Classic car technician Mauro has been putting the chequer plates and wheel arches back on after they were painted.

He also painted the doors and door hinges before reattaching the newly painted doors to the rugged vehicle.

Now that the doors match the rest of our Defender, it is looking very cool. With a bit more work left to do, it will be with us for a little while longer but it has certainly come a long way since it arrived at the Bridge Classic Cars workshop at the beginning of the year.

Strip Down And Paint

Our 2015 Land Rover Defender 110 has been stripped down by classic car technician, Mauro. Once it had been stripped, Mauro rubbed down the roof ready for it to be painted.

It wasn’t just the roof that had the attention of our paintshop though, as the wheel arches, front grill, and front headlight surrounds were also prepared to be painted black.

Once all the prep work was complete, the roof and the other prepped components were painted.

As you can see from the photos below, our Defender is looking great now that some of its paintwork has been completed. With more paintwork coming very soon, we are looking forward to seeing it continue looking better and better, the longer it spends in the Bridge Classic Cars workshop.

Featured In Land Rover Monthly

Our 2015 Land Rover Defender 110 has been heavily featured in Land Rover Monthly with its owner Ed Stafford.

In the interesting multi-page article, Ed talks in great detail about his Land Rover, his life, and his future plans. He even talks about the work we are doing on his Defender!

The article is an interesting read and shows how capable this vehicle is.
