Prepping For Paint

Our 1979 Austin Morris Mini 850 has been in the Bridge Classic Cars paintshop with classic car technician Mauro.

Our classic Mini was rubbed down and had primer applied in preparation for it to be painted very soon.

It won’t be too much longer before our 1979 Austin Morris Mini 850 is fully painted and, eventually, it will go on to be a competition car through Bridge Classic Cars Competitions.

Stripping Our Mini

Our 1979 Austin Morris Mini 850 is a beautiful classic car. However, at the moment, it is a mix of colours and needs some attention from the Bridge Classic Cars paintshop.

Before the paintshop can make our Mini even more appealing though, it needed to be stripped down.

That is exactly what classic car technician Scott has been doing recently.

Now that it has been stripped, it will move into the paintshop. Once it leaves there, it will be in better condition and will be ready to move on to the next stage of its restoration journey in the Bridge Classic Cars workshop.

A Mini Arrival Causes Major Excitement

On Monday we had an exciting orange delivery…

This characterful 1980 Austin Morris Mini 1275 GT has arrived and will be one of our next competition cars. With only a few minor cosmetic imperfections, this Mini is in perfect condition and looks like its just left the factory!

We’re looking forward to photographing this charming little motor and launching it on our competition site! Watch this space!
