1973 Triumph TR6

1973 Triumph TR6 2.5 PI CP Series.

Sienna brown with tan leather, this is the very last right hand drive CP series to be built in the UK in September 1972, chassis 77716. Comes complete with heritage confirmation which confirms also that it is tax exempt. The following chassis numbers; 77717, 77718 were believed to be left hand drive and exported.

The car has been owned by its previous owner for 12 years with MOT history backed up to 1896 and was used regularly. This shows by how beautifully it drives. Having covered just 86000 miles with the last MOT expiring 2018. Although it is not needed now due to age we would be happy to discuss MOT options with the buyer. The history file comes with many repair receipts showing work to get through MOT and some services included.

Ideal car for restoration or enjoy it right now and through the summer.

The bodywork shows signs of wear and age with rust bubbles needing attention. Light scratches on the paintwork and a slight crease on the offside front bumper. The front valence also shows signs of rust. The rear suspension springs are low but these are easily replaced. More reassuring is that the engine pressure good, temperature fine, the hood is in good condition with no tears. As stated above, the car sounds and drives beautifully.

The interior is original and shows signs of wear due to their age. The clutch was replaced 5000 miles ago and a new electric fan, stainless steel exhaust and tonneau cover have all been fitted.
