Jon carried out a service and inspection on our 1991 Volkswagen Transporter T4 here at the Bridge Classic Cars Suffolk HQ. He cleaned down the brake pipes leading to both front callipers and wire-brushed the ferrules on the flexible brake pipes. The engine oil and filter were drained, with a new filter and sump bung fitted before topping up the engine oil, running the engine, and testing it.
He adjusted both the alternator and power steering belts, torqued the wheels, and inflated the tyres to the correct pressures. The under shield was refitted, and a road test confirmed everything was functioning properly. The service book was stamped, and the locking wheel nut key was placed on the seat. The vehicle is now only awaiting the arrival and fitting of a new horn before the MOT can be completed.
