Our restoration technician Jon has checked the brakes on our 1964 Daimler 250 V8 while they were hot and after the previous works on the classic saloon car. He spun each wheel to confirm they were free, with all wheels moving without issue. A visual inspection of the brakes showed everything appeared in good order. He then wiped down the wheels, blew them off and carried out a road test, during which no noise was heard and the brakes performed well – and he could then be confident in signing that section of the work off for the cars owner.
