Repairs to our Mercedes

Jon carried out further adjustments on our 1987 Mercedes 500 SL, starting by removing the front bumper in order to correctly fit the trim and securely fasten the ends. He then removed the offside headlight to address an issue where the wing and bonnet were making contact. To create the necessary clearance, he drilled out the inner wing at the join with the slam panel and carefully knocked it back using a piece of wood. He concluded the session by organising items on the bench and tidying the surrounding work area.
