Jonn has been working on our 1959 Austin Healey 3000 by removing both carburettors from the engine. Each unit was then stripped down, thoroughly cleaned, and blown out to remove any residual debris or buildup. Following this, the carburettors were carefully rebuilt with attention to detail, ensuring all components were correctly reassembled. Lubrication was applied where necessary, and the basic settings were established. Once this preparation was complete, the carburettors were rebolted to the manifold.

Work then continued with the refitting process, focusing on properly adjusting the associated linkages. Jonn proceeded to fine-tune the throttle linkages to ensure accurate operation and response. The task was concluded with the installation of a new set of spark plugs.
