Clinton, our master fabricator, has carefully dismantled the floors of our 1955 Aston Martin DB24 Drophead Coupé to prepare them for repair/replacement. Once the existing sections had been removed, he set about fabricating new panels to ensure accurate fitment and structural integrity, ready for installation as the restoration progresses in the Bridge Classic Cars workshops here at our Suffolk HQ.
Rob, one of our restoration techncians, has worked on our 1955 Aston Martin DB24 Drophead Coupé by having the bulkhead woodwork blasted, then carefully sanding, repairing and fitting it back into place. He also fabricated and installed the new front brake pipes, before fitting both the steering drop arm and the link arm. Alongside this, Anthony documented the chrome components.
