Today, we heard the very sad news of the passing of a much loved figure in the automotive world, Kevin Morfett, founder of Historika Porsche.
All of us at Bridge Classic Cars are saddened to read the news shared by Historika. Tributes are coming in thick and fast on the Historika social pages which just goes to show just how highly thought of and admired Kevin is the motorsport community.
Kevin’s son, Nick, shared a post on Historika’s Instagram announcing his father’s passing and wrote some very emotional words about his dad.
Although we have not worked directly with Historika in any way over the years, we share the same passion.
I have so much respect and admiration for the brand that both Kevin and Nick have established on an international scale.
When I attend Goodwood, I may just be a spectator myself but I feel so proud to see a local company, working hard down on the track.
Our condolences go out to Nick and the team at Historika and Kevin’s extended family, friends, and colleagues.
