Location: Bridge Classic Cars, The Nursery, Main Road, Pettistree, Woodbridge, Suffolk, IP13 0HH
The workshop team work a 4-day week; Tuesday to Friday from 6.30am to 5.00pm. Overtime is available in and around the normal working week.
The media and administrative teams operates a 5-day week; Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 5.00pm. Flexible hours and overtime would be considered.
Additional benefits include; health scheme, pension and membership entitlement.

Current Vacancies:
Vehicle - Mechanical Technician
Due to expansion within the business we are currently looking for Mechanical Technicians to join our team.
Ideally you will have a love of Classic Cars as this is not like working in a mainstream dealerships or a provincial garage.
We are looking for individuals to have as many of the below skills but we don’t expect to find Technicians with all of them.
If you can totally dismantle and rebuild vehicles
You have strong Mechanical and Electrical fault-finding capabilities
You can strip, diagnose issues and rebuild engineYou can rebuild car
You understand what will be required to ensure a vehicle is presented for MOT and pass
You can strip, rebuild and bleed braking systems
You can weld TIG, MIG or both.
You can deal with carburation issues and rebuild carburettors if required
At present we do not work with cars with ECU’s, fuel Injection or Air conditioning but if you have this knowledge it may be of use in the future.
A good financial package is offered for a four day working week, holidays, and private health care.
Welder/Fabricator
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to construct, assemble, and repair metal products. You will need to cut and shape raw materials, and utilize various welding processes to build structural and mechanical components. The ideal candidate ensures all work meets strict safety and quality standards while operating in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Use of TIG/MIG welding and other welding techniques suitable for particular applications accurately.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal according to specifications.
• Perform quality checks on fabricated components to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist in the development of fabrication processes and improve existing methods for efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Requirements
• Proven experience in fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of fabication / welding standards and techniques.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal working equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings.
• Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
• Experience in assembly of fabricated components is desirable.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in welding or metal fabrication are advantageous but not essential.
Key Information:
Competitive salary, 4 day working week (40hrs) for our workshops technicians: Tuesday-Friday 6:30am – 5pm. 5 day working week (40hrs) for our office and media team: Monday-Friday 8am – 5pm. Overtime available, generous holidays, pension, health scheme and benefits scheme.
