The BMW R 1150 RS was introduced in 2001 as a successor to the R 1100 RS. It continued BMW’s approach to practical, long-distance sports touring. By 2002, the second year of production, the model remained unchanged mechanically and still had the upgraded 1,130cc air/oil-cooled boxer twin engine. Power output did rise slightly, though, from 90hp to 95hp at 7,250rpm.
Our BMW R 1150 RS has a fuel-injected engine paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, a dry single-plate clutch, and BMW’s shaft drive for smooth, low-maintenance riding.
This particular R 1150 RS has covered 24,470 miles and comes with a history file containing past MOT certificates and invoices for parts and work. completed.
