Originally built on 29th October 1959, our Austin-Healey 3000 Mark I four-seater is an absolutely stunning car.
Supplied new as a left-hand-drive export model finished in Ivory White with a red interior and black hood, it was dispatched on 7th November 1959 to Dusseldorf, Germany. From factory, it had several optional extras including wire wheels, a heater, laminated windscreen, miles-per-hour speedometer, and overdrive.
In 1991, the car returned to the UK, where it was converted to right-hand drive and a black leather interior was added. The 3000 Mark I, often referred to as the “BT7” in four-seater form like this one, has an inline-six and a 4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive.
Our Austin Healey 3000 comes from long-term ownership and has been extremely well cared for. It has a substantial history file containing numerous invoices, past MOT certificates and an original Driver’s Handbook.
