Greg, one of our amazing restoration technician, carried out sill repairs on our 1970 Aston Martin DBS 6 Vantage and removed rust from the wheel arch to restore the structural integrity of these areas.

Ben has been in our mechanical workshop documenting the stripping of both the front and rear of the Aston with reference photographs and organised the components accordingly. Any parts without machined surfaces requiring protection were placed in the powder coat box, while items such as the hubs and hub carriers were sandblasted and then carefully masked to ensure they would not be damaged during blasting or powder coating. The brake calipers were securely boxed, ready to be sent away for reconditioning, and the differential was also set aside to go with them. As Ben progressed through the components, he compiled a list of the necessary replacement parts, noting in particular that the bronze bushings showed significant wear and would require attention.
