Jonn continued work on the headlight repair for our 1978 MG Midget, fabricating clips to secure the headlight to its surround.

The wheels were refitted, and the vehicle was removed from the ramp. A new temperature sender was fitted after stripping out the old unit. Both seatbelt buckles were untwisted, and a new anti-slip provision was installed on the clutch pedal.

A new door mirror base was fitted to the nearside; although the mirror sits at an angle, it remains functional. A new grub screw was made for the mirror. The washers were checked and found to be inoperative due to a split in the manually operated pump.

The wheels were removed, the front brakes cleaned, and the discs de-rusted. A new nearside rear shock unit was then fitted following a strip-out of the old component.
