In preparation for a full engine rebuild, Greg has been sorting the engine bay area and tidying the wires before removing the engine from the car.
The wiring has been labelled up which will make life much easier when it is time to refit the engine.
With the engine out, the customer had a choice to make whether to clean the inside of the empty engine bay to fresh it up prior to the reinstallation or leave it alone. The choice was made to clean the area which I think was the right decision.
The engine was then loaded up and taken to George Edney, MG engine specialist to be rebuilt. We expect it to be completed within 6-8 weeks.
