Ipswich Town climbed to third in the Championship with a 3–1 win over bottom side Sheffield Wednesday at Portman Road.
Cedric Kipre opened the scoring with a powerful header before Jaden Philogene doubled the lead on the hour. Sheffield Wednesday briefly threatened a comeback when Liam Cooper pulled one back from a corner substitute Jack Clarke sealed the points late on with a calm and composed finish. The win lifted Ipswich two places after earlier results elsewhere went in their favour.

Mat Kirkby
This week we were honoured to share Box 19 in the company of Mat Kirkby, an Academy Award winning British filmmaker whose amazing career to date sees success from commercial and music-video before gaining international recognition as an Oscar winning filmmaker.
Mat Kirkby built a strong reputation in the advertising and music video industries, working in London’s highly competitive creative scene. During this period, he directed music videos for globally recognised artists such as Adele, Muse, Basement Jaxx and breaking records with FatBoy Slim. As well as his music success success Mat has delivered high-profile visual campaigns for major brands including Nike and PlayStation.
His defining breakthrough came with the short film The Phone Call, which he co-wrote and directed alongside producer and writer James Lucas. The film stars Sally Hawkins as a crisis hotline counsellor who receives a call from a deeply distressed man, voiced by Jim Broadbent and unfolds almost entirely through the emotional exchange between the two characters.
With a powerful visual approach and an intense focus on performance, the film explores themes of loneliness, empathy, and human connection, demonstrating Mat’s ability to draw powerful emotional resonance from minimal settings. The Phone Call was widely praised on the international festival circuit and ultimately achieved the highest honour in short-form cinema when it won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film at the 87th Academy Awards in 2015, officially establishing Kirkby as an Oscar-winning director.
This achievement marked a turning point in his career, bringing global attention to his work and highlighting his talent for intimate, character-driven storytelling.
Since his Oscar win, Kirkby has continued to develop projects across film, television, and branded content and spends most of his time now using his creative style to write feature films for various production houses and creatives.
Kieran Roper
The man behind some of Suffolk’s most beautiful residential developments, Kieran is the founder of Reuben Arthur Homes. But before venturing out on his own Kieran learnt a lot of his craft whilst working overseas in some not-to-shabby surroundings.
10 years ago Kieran worked as leasing negotiator and specialist in the fast pace market of downtown, Dubai, daeling with high end properties and clients with keys to some of the most exclusive apartments and penthouses in the world famous Burj Khalifa.
The Bahamas and the British Virgin Islands came calling next before Keiran returned to the UK to settle down and start a family in here in Suffolk.
