John investigated a non-starting issue on our 1995 TVR Chimaera. The battery was first charged to ensure adequate cranking power. Spark was confirmed to be present, and attention then turned to the fuel system, where no fuel pressure was detected. All relevant fuses and relay feeds were checked and found to be in order. Power supply to the fuel pump was verified, and although voltage was present, the connection was cleaned and terminal fittings tightened to ensure a solid contact. Following this, the engine started and ran, though John noted a possible issue with the pump itself and will carry out further checks tomorrow.
