Fixing rust on our 1987 Mercedes 500 SL

Greg attended to several areas on Craig’s 1987 Mercedes 500 SL here at the Bridge Classic Cars HQ, starting with the heater box where he repaired the damaged tabs. He then fitted the washer arms onto the newly installed panel. Full welding was carried out in the bulkhead, followed by welding and trimming work on the outside. During this stage Greg identified a rust hole in the bulkhead, which he cut out before repairing the affected area to ensure the rust was fully removed and the section made sound.
