Ben wrapped up the final bits of the car and started applying the underseal. The air gun and bottles of underseal were used as this produces the best finish. He used 7 units of the 3m brand underseal. Once the paint was dry he could start fixing the brake lines and battery cable as well as making a new one as the rear of the line was pitted.
The Aston has now had the boot catch fitted and the boot lid edge panel beat to match, and opens and closes as it should, this will need final adjustments once new rubber seals are fitted.
It’s been transferred over to the paint shop for some prep work prior to going on a custom trolley for panel gaps to be done before paint.
A big turning point in this restoration!
