Another New Arrival

Another new arrival has arrived at the Bridge Classic Cars workshop in the form of our 1955 Austin Healey 100 BN1. This beautiful classic is with us so we can investigate a leak coming from the rear axle as well as some other tasks.

Final Welding

Our 1969 Audi 70L has been undergoing final welding as well as having its paint removed. Rust prevention has also been applied.

SS100 Front Axle

Workshop Manager, John has been rebuilding and refitting the front axle to our 1939 Jaguar SS100. He also checked and adjusted the tracking to make sure this rare car handles correctly when it gets back out on the road.

Quick Repair

Jonn has fitted a new heat exchange pipe to our 1975 Volkswagen Beetle 1303.

DB6 In Paint

Adam has been preparing our 1969 Aston Martin DB6 Volante for paint by stripping the old paint back to bare metal. Pete has also been working on our DB6. He has refurbished the washer pump. Epoxy Primer

Mauro has masked up our 1963 Rover P4 and applied epoxy primer.

Polishing

Adam has polished our 1980 MG Midget and the car is now going back together.

500SL Rear Calipers

Jonn has carried out work on the rear calipers of our 1987 Mercedes 500SL. Both calipers were blasted, with any missed areas finished using a wire wheel. The calipers were then stripped, with seals, pistons, and other components removed. A thorough cleaning followed before each caliper was rebuilt using new seals, pistons, and dust covers. […]

MGC Repairs

Jonn carried out various repairs on our 1968 MG C Roadster, beginning with the refitting and securing of the gearbox cross member. The rear end was wire-brushed and undersealed before the exhaust was refitted and secured in place. Rover P4 Sanding

Mauro has been sanding our 1963 Rover P4 in preparation for epoxy primer to be applied.

XKR Paint

Chris has been preparing our 2010 Jaguar XKR for paint. After stripping the bonnet to bare metal and preparing the wheel arch, he applied epoxy primer. After everything was primed, he masked all the parts up and painted them.

The final components from the top side of our 1969 Aston Martin DB6 Volante have been removed, and the handbrake assembly is undergoing degreasing to assess its condition. Painting Our Devon

500SL In Paint

Some of the bumper components of our 1987 Mercedes 500SL have been in the paint shop with Chris as he has been prepping, priming, and painting them.

Dent Repair

Our 1968 Daimler 250 V8 has been in the Bridge Classic Cars paint shop as Chris has been removing some dents before prepping and priming the car. The car was then painted.

Engine Painting

Chris has been painting various engine components from our 1975 MGB GT V8.

Polyfan

Chris has been continuing his work on our 1960 Jensen 541R. Recently, he has applied a guide coat and rubbed the car down. As he continues to prep the car for paint, it’s getting more and more exciting to see the progress being made.

2 Pre-Delivery Inspections Complete

Jonn has completed the pre-delivery inspections on our two most recently won competition cars, our 2013 Land Rover Defender 110 and our 1972 MGB GT. Fueled Up – Topping Up our 1972 MGB GT with P1

As with all of our competition cars which come through the Bridge Classic Cars workshop, our technician Jon fills them with our fuel from our sustainable fuel partner, P1 Fuels as part of our company wide sustainability drive. After this, Jon will PDI the car ready for delivery to its lucky new owner.
