Ben continued work on our 1976 Jensen Interceptor by fitting the hood stay and making adjustments to the dampers. He cleaned and polished the washer jets to improve their appearance and functionality, and cut new rubber gaskets for the wiper chrome bezels. With these components prepared, he proceeded with fitting the new parts in place.
Some interior pieces can finally be fitted to our 1976 Jensen Interceptor without being in anyone else’s way. Carpet side pieces are in, and under-seat runners are covered in vinyl.

Lydia has been working on the front seats, focusing on cutting and sewing several intricate and detailed sections. The foam has also been covered with a layer of scrim to enhance the level of plushness.

All panels on our 1976 Jensen Interceptor, including the doors, wings, boot, and bonnet, were levelled. The front and rear bumpers were fitted to the car. To achieve proper alignment and fitment, the bumper brackets were modified, and adjustments were also made to the body fixings.

Our trim shop here at the Bridge Classic Cars restoration workshop have been busy at work beginning the process of getting the cabin of the 70’s GT car back into top form. This time, Lydia has careful taken apart the original panels to remake them in glorious red leather.
Lydia has completed the door cards on our 1976 Jensen Interceptor. They are now finished in fresh red leather with matching topstitching. The updated panels give a refined and polished look to the interior.

Our 1976 Jensen Interceptor recently underwent brake maintenance. Photographs were taken to document the condition of the brakes before and after cleaning. New metal brake pipes were fitted as part of the process. The components were thoroughly cleaned and assessed for functionality. The interior has also had some attention from Lydia.
