Both colours needed reworking on the inner boot lip of our 1973 MGB Roadster.
The boot of our 1973 MGB Roadster has been rust treated, filled and primed. It was then repainted in both new colours in preparation to go back onto the car.
Adam has been giving our 1973 MGB Roadster some attention in the Bridge Classic Cars paintshop. After painting the bonnet hinges, he then polished the car ready for the next stage of its restoration.
The doors have been refitted to our MGB Roadster and they have been aligned to the car.
Once our 1973 MGB Roadster had been masked up in preparation to be painted, Adam applied the first colour – blue. Once dry, this was followed by the application of the silver/gold layer. Once both colour coats had dried, a clear coat was applied to complete the process.
The boot and bonnet of our 1973 MGB Roadster have continued their stay in the Bridge Classic Cars paint shop and will soon be leaving with a fresh coat of paint.
The paint shop here at the Bridge Classic Cars HQ are always busy. They’re responsible for the most notable transformations which our restoration projects go through, like our 1973 MGB Roadster which has been skillfully painted in a very rare two-tone scheme by Adam.

Adam has applied the final guide coat to our 1973 MGB Roadster and sanded it with P500. The car has since been cleaned and inspected in preparation for paint and is now ready to be masked up for colour.
After being primed, the car and panels have now been guide coated and sanded with a block with p320 grit ready for p500 sanding.
Our 1973 MGB Roadster has now had primer applied and will soon be painted. It will, no doubt, look incredible by the time it leaves the paint shop.
