The body of our very rare and very special 1955 Aston Martin DB2/4 Drophead Coupe has now been put back on its chassis. This is a big moment in the restoration of this car and shows that a lot of progress is being made.

All parts of our 1955 Aston Martin DB2/4 Drophead Coupe have been epoxy primed and raptor painted, coloured and clear coated. This has all been applied to protect parts of the car that won’t be accessible when it is assembled.
All old paint has been removed from some of the panels on our 1955 Aston Martin DB2/4 Drophead Coupe. The panels have also been prepped for epoxy primer.
Door skins have been stripped of paint, and lead removed from boot skin and sanded ready for epoxy primer
