As part of the maintenance on the 1978 MGB GT, the Bridge Classic Cars team have been under the bonnet to get this ‘survivor’ running like a champ.

‘Clean and tune carbs. Clean pistons and suction chambers. Set jet depths at 1mm and refit pistons etc. Run up and take outside. Get up to temp and adjust carbs. Switch off and it runs on. Check choke mechanism and found quadrant in permanent contact with throttle. Adjust throttle and choke and reset idle. OK now doesn’t run on but still has oil leak. I believe Ben is going to look at and test later.’
