New Defender Seatbelt

The old seatbelt was removed from the nearside rear of the 2010 Land Rover Defender 90. A new belt was fitted and securely fixed in place. The belt was pulled out and plugged into the seat. All fixings were checked with a spanner and confirmed to be secure. Caps were then fitted to the nuts.

DB6 Front Suspension

Ben worked on our 1969 Aston Martin DB6 Volante, focusing on the smaller suspension components requiring precise masking due to bearing surfaces that needed protection. As shown in the reference photos, the parts were masked and sandblasted. Particular care was taken to smooth the outer seal surfaces of the bearings without causing damage.

Reassembling A TR6

A helicoil repair was carried out on the rear main seal housing of our 1975 Triumph TR6. The housing was then refitted, along with the backplate and flywheel. The sump was reinstalled, and the timing chain was fitted. Work on reassembling the gearbox is in progress, with new seals and gaskets being installed.

More Removals

The wiring, harness, and heater have now been removed from our 1978 Mercedes 350SL. Lots of work and progress are being made on this car, and it will soon be returned to its former glory and be back out on the road where it belongs.

Prepping Parts For Future Reassembly

Ben has begun cleaning and restoring various parts from our 1978 Mercedes 350SL in preparation for reassembly. Some components have been sandblasted and primed, with plans to apply the correct paint colour before storage. These restored parts will be packed away until they are ready to be refitted during the reassembly process
