Gearbox Removal

The gearbox and differential were removed from our 1975 Triumph TR6 and thoroughly cleaned in preparation for fitting new gaskets and seals to address multiple oil leaks.

MG C Fuel Sender

MGB In Primer

Our 1973 MGB Roadster has now had primer applied and will soon be painted. It will, no doubt, look incredible by the time it leaves the paint shop.

Jensen Interceptor Body Work

The preparation of our 1976 Jensen Interceptor has continued in order for it to soon be painted. After polyfan has been applied, it has been rubbed down ready for the next stage of its restoration journey here at Bridge Classic Cars.

Primer Rub Down

A guide coat has been added to our 1960 Jensen 541R. The primer was then rubbed down ready for final paint. The car was then masked up and will soon have its beautiful new paint applied.

Triumph TR6 Rust Repair

Our 1975 Triumph TR6 was in need of some rust repair on the driver’s side sill. It was patch welded before being primed and painted.

Paint Stripping

Our 1978 Mercedes 350SL has been in the Bridge Classic Cars paint shop. While it has been in there, it has had the paint stripped off several panels ready for prep work to begin for new paint.

Driveshaft Refurbishment

As new driveshafts were not available, we stripped down the joints and cleaned them, then regreased as well as replacing the CV boots on our 1987 Mercedes 500SL.

Triumph Stag Service

Our Triumph Stag has been serviced. While doing so, both power steering lines were replaced as the old ones were perished and leaking fluid.

Headlight Alignment

Ben aligned the o/s headlight that he had previously sorted. He then needed to look in to the wiring on the other light that hadn’t been looked at yet and the earth connection was poor, so he cleaned and replaced the connections where necessary. Stag Appraisal and Repairs

Jonn began by stripping and inspecting the rear brakes of our 1974 Triumph Stag. The wheel cylinders were confirmed to be free and dry. Brake shoes and drums were cleaned, and the drums were refitted. The wheels were then fitted and torqued correctly. Wheel bearings were checked, and all grease points were lubricated. A list […]

Interceptor Body work

Our 1976 Jensen Interceptor has continued its stay in the Bridge Classic Cars paint shop. It has now been masked up and had polyfan applied.

Painted rocker cover 1968 Morris Minor Traveller

The painted rocker cover has been put back into our 1968 Morris Minor Traveller. New gaskets and stickers have also been fitted.

Body work on our 1976 Jensen Interceptor

All panels on our 1976 Jensen Interceptor, including the doors, wings, boot, and bonnet, were levelled. The front and rear bumpers were fitted to the car. To achieve proper alignment and fitment, the bumper brackets were modified, and adjustments were also made to the body fixings.

Going Back Together

During the reassembly of our 1968 MG C Roadster following paintwork, the bumpers, lights, and indicators were refitted using new gaskets and replacement bolts where required. The headlight and front indicator wiring required new connections, which were soldered on. A new headlight bowl was installed. The wheels were also refitted.

Fitting The Roof To A Classic Morgan

Jonn has fitted the roof to our 1987 Morgan 4/4.

Investigating A Knock From underneath Our Daimler 250 V8

Jonn investigated a knock from underneath our 1969 Daimler 250 V8. The offside exhaust pipe was found to be contacting the heat shield. The shield was removed, the edge trimmed and then refitted. Change Of Number Plates

Jonn has changed the number plates of our 1994 Rover Mini. He scraped off the old sticky tape and mastic before apply double side tape to new plates and fit to front and rear.

Stripping A Rare Audi
