We’ve worked on this Jaguar E-Type V12 before but this time it’s only in, in part. Ady has been taking the carburettors off it to be able to strip down, clean and assist.
Matt and James have now finished Freddie’s Subaru to better-than-factory finnish. The majority of the work took place on the rear driver’s side wheel arch and sill as well as under the spoiler on the boot lid. All this Subaru needs now is a good clean once all the paint and setting chemicals have settled.
Brian has been working to remove the covers from the rear sear rub backs on our Aston Martin DB2/4. He’s taken apart the covers and used them to mark out leather for new covers. He’s then sewn the covers together and glued the original foam back onto the metal seat. Brian has added extra layers […]

New arrival to Bridge Classic Cars, our absolutely stunning 1969 Mercedes SL 280 Pagoda has come in for a complete engine rebuild. Although driveable, the car is running very badly. Work will commence on the rebuild very soon.
Our 1960 blue Morris Minor has been in the paint shop this week with Chris and Matt, having it’s recently repaired rear wing painted to match the rest of the car and the wheel primed and painted, it’s now back to its colourful former self!
We’ve just received the chassis to our yellow 1951 Riley back from the sandblasters. With all the rust off, we can now start to build it back up.

We’re delighted to see our Ford Model T starting up and running so smoothly today.
As part of the service, Mauro has replaced the rear brakes on our 1972 Beetle. The rear brake cylinder was replaced due to leaking brake fluid. The front suspension ball joint was replaced due to slight play.
We’d sent the carburettors off and found that the they needed new shims so Ady has worked on making up newer thicker shims.
Scott has been fitting the newly relined brake shoes to our Riley Monaco. This has cured the squealing brakes and has now gone back to its owner.
Matt and Chris have been working on applying filler to our white Jaguar E-Type so that they can smooth and shape the body, ensuring there’s not rippling and the surface is even in preparation for paint.
Pricey has been continuing his work on our 1998 Honda Integra. He’s currently making up a new rear wheel arch and shaping up the arch. When he removed the arch it revealed a rotten inner sill and inner arch which he has worked to improve.

Lydia has been working on recovering a pair of Bentley Continental seats. She has done the whole process from start to finish by hand. She’s replaced the foam, cut new leather from templates she’s made from the old cover, fitted, stitched and glued the new seats together with a keen attention to detail.

After a hit and run collision that left this little moggy with a severely dented rear wheel arch, we’ve begun our repair worked to get this Morris Minor back on the road. The damage was rather substantial and has needed James to fabricate in a new rear arch and panel which will later be painted.
