Coming for sale soon: 1970 Eagle SS

Late last night we collected our 1970 Eagle SS. This kit car is based on a VW Beatle chassis. However, the dramatic bodywork styling is a far cry from the original Beatle. Remarkably, these cars only weigh around 750kg and owners state these are great little cars to drive.

This vehicle will be available for sale at Bridge Classic Cars soon.

It’s a sad day indeed. Friend of Bridge Classic Cars, Car Crazed Fool has sold his 1970 Plymouth Superbird. While we’re sad to see her go, I’m sure there will be something equally exciting coming as a replacement.

“The 1970 Superbird was always a childhood icon for me and owning this one over the last 5 years has been a absolute honour. She has given 100s of smiles per mile. A true legend.ย #birdistheword

Jensen 541R Custom Exhaust Fabrication

Our one-of-a-kind Corvette powered Jensen 541R is having custom fabricated stainless steel exhaust system made and fitted. We had originally designed a system that took the manifold above the engine but due to our customers request we’re re-routing the system underneath. We’ve had to ensure the exhaust misses the steering column and alternator. We’ve avoided too many sharp bends in order to maintain efficient airflow.

Bridge visits Caffeine & Machine

We visited the good people at Caffeine & Machine and wow, what a lovely place it is! If great coffee wasn’t enough reason to pay them a visit then the stunning cars they have there will be!

We were even greeted by a 2019 McLaren GT. Of course the McLaren is a bit modern for our own tastes, but there is no denying this is one hell of a performance machine. Not just a one trick pony, we think the gorgeous styling on this new McLaren GT looks every bit a supercar too.

Thanks again to Caffeine & Machine, we’ll be sure to pop back and visit again soon!

Veteran Car Run – London to Brighton – November 2019

We were at the oldest celebration of motoring this Sunday 3rd November, the 2019 London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. More than 400 pre-1905 vehicles took took to the road.

Over 120 years since the first run in 1896, it was wonderful to see so many of these Veteran vehicles make the journey from Hyde Park in Central London to the coat of Brighton.

It was fantastic to see friends of Bridge Classic Cars, Stephen Norman MD Vauxhall Cars and Jeremy Townsend Director of Communications Vauxhall Cars crossing the finish line in Brighton. We also saw television presenter, Alan Titchmarsh in his veteran vehicle.

Gordon saying hello to Vauxhall’s MD, Stephen Norman and Director of Communications, Jeremy Townsend.
