Last night I spent an evening in the company of one of the UK’s most successful broadcasters. His podcast is listened to by millions, all over the world and he has sat down with some of the most influential people of our generation to hear their life stories; all very real and quite often, very raw.
Hosted by Paddy & Scotts‘ CEO Jonathan Reed, An Evening with Jake Humphrey was held in one of the lecture theatres inside the University of Suffolk and with the sun beating down on Ipswich docks before and after the event, they couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting.
Jake made us part of his life story, digging deeper into the highs and lows of his career to date as well as giving us an insight into his personal life with his family. It was great to hear more from the man behind High Performance in a packed out room of like-minded business people.
I have been fortunate to have met Jake previously as we worked together on a project for Lotus Cars and Community Sport Foundation and it was lovely to catch up with him aonce again, albeit very briefly .I did manage to get a few minutes with Chloe Dannatt, CEO and Co-Founder of High Performance Foundation to learn more about the fantastic work they are doing with young adults.
