John responded to the customer’s concern regarding brake binding on our 1939 Morris 8 Series E, specifically noting that the passenger side rear wheel was becoming hot during use.

He removed all the brake assemblies and confirmed that the wheel cylinders were operating freely and that the brake shoes were returning correctly.

The braking components were then cleaned and adjusted before the car was taken on a long road test.

Following the test, he rechecked the brakes to ensure there was no further binding. To complete the work, the rear drum was repainted.
